CSU Gonzaga continues to work out its Technical-Vocational Education and
Training (TVET) Program to help meet the manpower demand of various
industries. It offers national qualifications that complement the different courses in
the campus specifically at the College of Agriculture (CA) and College of Business
Entrepreneurship and Accountancy (CBEA) and the College of Hospitality
Management (CHM).
As CSU Gonzaga aims high to prosper and upgrade the skills of its students and
various stakeholders, it keeps on facilitating different qualifications for different
courses. At present, CSU-Gonzaga TVET offers training and assessment for the
following qualifications:
• Rice Machinery Operations NC II
• Grains Production NC II
• Agricultural Crops Production NC I
• Agricultural Crops Production NC II
• Agricultural Crops Production NC III
• Agro-Entrepreneurship NC II
• Agro-Entrepreneurship NC III
• Agro-Entrepreneurship NC IV
• Bookkeeping NC III
• Housekeeping NC II
• Bamboo Production NC II
In response to the Rice Tariffication Law (RA 11203), CSU- Gonzaga TVET offers
Rice Machinery Operations NC II and Farmers Field School to train the extension
workers and agricultural engineers who in turn shall train the farmers and fisherfolks
on agricultural and fisheries mechanization, technologies and practices from seed
production to harvesting and marketing of their produce.
Since its establishment in 2018, CSU Gonzaga TVET has already produced 436
RMO NC II holders, 142 ACP NC II holders, 46 GRP NC II holders, 10 AGE NC
II holders, 270 Bookkeeping NC II holders, and 39 ACP NC III holders. These
National Certificate holders are farmer irrigators, faculty and staff of CSU Campuses
and employees of other line agencies.
