CSU SOLANA-LARA CAMPUS: WHERE DREAMS HAPPEN

In celebration of the 2nd Founding anniversary of CSU Solana-Lara Campus on June 18, 2024, the campus stands as a testament to dreams turned into reality. Two years ago, former President Urdujah Alvarado and Congressman Joseph “Jojo” Lara joined forces with a vision to bring quality education closer to Solana and Amulung, making countless dreams come true.

Yesterday, during the campus’ 2nd Founding Anniversary, Congressman Jojo Lara expressed his joy as the dream of the campus has flourished into a thriving reality, inspiring and transforming lives. Addressing the crucial issue of education, he emphasized the significance of bringing CSU Solana- Lara Campus closer to students and their families. He pledged continued support for CSU, promising to make more dreams a reality through future projects not only within the university but across Cagayan.

OIC-Office of the University President Arthur Ibañez and former President Urdujah Alvarado shared their enthusiasm for the future of CSU Solana - Lara campus, underscoring how this dream has answered the call of students seeking higher education. They expressed gratitude to Cong. Lara and his wife Dok Zara for their generous contributions to CSU.

Students Jocelyn Bargado and Emerson Lucina from CSU Solana- Lara Campus expressed their heartfelt gratitude, acknowledging the campus as a beacon of hope for students and families alike. They thanked Cong. Lara, Former President Alvarado and OIC Arthur Ibanez for enabling them to pursue their university education while staying close to home, alleviating financial burdens and ensuring a safe and quality educational environment.

Municipal Mayor of Solana Genalyn Carag and Amulung Mayor Rendon extended their thanks to Congressman Lara and CSU for building a school near their constituents, emphasizing the positive impact on the local community. Parents expressed their gratitude, noting that they no longer face financial struggles in sending their children to college, thanks to the accessibility of CSU Solana-Lara Campus.

The anniversary celebration also marked the ongoing construction of a three-storey building with 18 classrooms for CSU Solana-Lara Campus, further enhancing the educational facilities and opportunities for students. The festivities included a motorcade through Solana, the unveiling of the CSU Solana- Lara Campus marker and the awarding of educational assistance to students. An audiovisual presentation honored the support and dedication that laid the foundation for CSU Solana-Lara Campus, a place where dreams have truly come to life.
