CSU'S 45,000 TREES PROJECT IN BUGUEY, CAGAYAN

Around 300 sweet pomelo trees and bamboo plants were planted in Villa Leonora, Buguey, Cagayan on Friday, October 11, 2024, as part of the university's tree planting activity. This initiative supports the 45,000 Trees Project, initiated by OIC President Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez, to promote environmental sustainability and contribute to the greening efforts of the Philippine government.

Joining Dr. Ibañez were Dr. Urdujah G. Alvarado, technical project consultant and former CSU President, CSU Aparri CEO Engr. Audy R. Quebral, CSU Carig CEO Engr. Roger P. Rumpon, CSU Lal-lo CEO Engr. Policarpio L. Mabborang and CFAS Dean and Project Leader Dr. Quirino G. Pascua, CSU Executive Committee, CFAS faculty, and BSF Buguey Extension students. The Local Government of Buguey, headed by Hon. Mayor Licerio Antiporda, along with other LGU and barangay officials, actively participated in the event.
