CESTEEPH’s vision of rehabilitating the mangroves in Gonzaga, Cagayan
involves not only the adult members of the community but also the
children. Its influence on the children is highlighted by an illustration
of a storybook, The Lost Mangroves, an output of a pupil of Caroan
Elementary School.
The Science and Technology Academic aand Research-based Openly
Operated Kiosks (STARBOOKS) awarded by DOST to Caraon, Tapel
and San Jose Elementary Schools upscaled the teaching and learning of
Science and Technology courses.
