Cagayan State University is committed to eliminating hunger in the community. Belonging to agricultural
region, it endeavors to attain food security through its agricultural academic programs, research, and
community extension in sustainable agriculture. It initiates efforts to ensure food security through
training of farmers, development of agricultural products, and conducting feeding projects in the
deprived communities.
