CSU’s University President Urdujah G. Alvarado attended the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Launching Festivities of the “Faith and Farm Eco Tourism Park” today December 16, 2020 at Cagayan State University - Gonzaga Campus. University officials that were present to witness the ribbon cutting and show support to the launching were Provincial Environmental Natural Resources Officer (PENRO) Atty. Ismael Manaligod, Vice President for Academic Affairs Mariden Cauilan, CSU Gonzaga CEO Froilan Pacris, CSU Lasam CEO Florante Balatico, CSU Lal-lo CEO Ricardo Casauay, Office of the Student Development Welfare Director Lorraine Tattao, and the competent and supportive faculty and staff of CSU-Gonzaga.

This signals the beginning of a strengthened Bamboo niche for CSU-Gonzaga as it opens its doors to tourists to enjoy the in-campus bamboo sanctuary that will feature its bamboo park, bamboo cafe, tangkiran garden, and the soon to be finished Mt. Tabungao Viewing Deck among other features that tourists will surely enjoy. This is with the aim to boost both the bamboo and tourism industry in the province.
