In an effort to exhibit the various products generated through research under the Business Incubation Zone for Novel and Sustainable Technology Enterprises Program, where creative ideas and sustainable startups happen, the RDE Office headed by VP Junel Guzman established the IPAKITA and iShop that were launched today through a blessing and a ribbon cutting ceremony. In attendance with President Alvarado are some university key officials who witnessed the event.
IPAKITA is the first Technology Commercialization Showroom of Cagayan State University which aims to promote the technologies generated by the University. The term IPAKITA is a Filipino word that means "to show". It is also coined from two terms-- ÏP"and "KITA" with the former referring to "Intellectual Property"and the latter being a Filipino word for "profit", promoting the idea that there is profit in our intangible assets.
CSU iSHOP or Innovation Shop, on the other hand, is a one stop online shop that promotes the products of technology generators and adopters enrolled in the Biznest Program.
